The Last of Us Part 1. The Last of Us Part 1 was released on PC in June 2023 to much anticipation, but it too was plagued by technical issues. Many users reported frequent crashes, stuttery mouse camera movements, low utilization of hardware, and general optimization problems. GPU utilization appeared maxed the entire time with no signs of bottleneck. Frame rates in the region of ~120 fps at 1440p DLSS Quality. No obvious frame-time stuttering so far. Shader compilation is also noticeably faster but I didn't measure the exact time it took. Probably around 10 minutes. The Last of Us quietly receives its first update that will hopefully address the performance issues that have marred its launch on PC. The first minor update has been pushed for the PC port of The Marvel’s Spider-man Remastered was a PS5 port, but fundamentally a PS4 game. It still used the same engine the original and Miles Morales did, which both were built with PS4 limitations in mind. Simple texture boosts and some extra graphical effects on an already pretty game. The Last of Us Part 1 was remade with the PS5 in mind. The single worst PC port I have ever seen. Waited 10 years for the game, avoiding any and all walkthrough videos, reviews, spoilers and etc. and this disgusting excuse of a port ruined every The developers have issued an announcement that they are working on an appropriate update. Naughty Dog certainly didn't envision the PC debut of The Last of Us to be something like this. Players who decided to purchase the game face a a ton of problems - with poor optimization at the forefront. The community's complaints have not escaped the r/thelastofus. Join. • 13 days ago. The Last of Us episode three "Long, Long Time" in 1/64 scale. After months of work I finally have this piece finished! Majority scratch built with some 3d printed elements. By far the largest piece I've made yet, I'd love to hear any critique you have for future projects. The PC port of The Last of Us Part 1 is bad. But, the good news about hitting rock bottom, or close to it, is that you've got nowhere to go but up. Four patches of varying sizes later, The Last of Us Part 1 is getting better on the PC. The Last of Us Part 1 debuted on the PC on March 28 to 2,518 negative reviews compared to 1,263 Positive YC3BA.
